Anorexia - Nervosa is a psychiatric diagnosis that describes an eating disorder characterized by low body weight and body image distortion with an obsessive fear of gaining weight. Individuals with anorexia are known to commonly control body weight through the means of voluntary starvation, purging, vomiting, excessive exercise, or other weight control measures, such as diet pills or diuretic drugs.
Donation - is a gift given, typically to a cause or/and for charitable purposes.
Eating disorder - is a compulsion to eat, or avoid eating, that negatively affects both one's physical and mental health. Eating disorders are all encompassing. They affect every part of the person's life.
Food Bank - is a non-profit organization which distributes non-perishable goods and perishable food items to non-profit agencies involved in local emergency food programs.
Interview - is a conversation between two or more people (the interviewer and the interviewee) where questions are asked by the interviewer to obtain information from the interviewee.
lower-class - occupying the lowest socioeconomic position in a society.
Obesity - is a condition in which excess body fat has accumulated to such an extent that health may be negatively affected.
Poverty - is deprivation of common necessities that determine the quality of life, including food, clothing, shelter and safe drinking water.
Volunteer - is someone who works for a community or for the benefit of environment primarily because they choose to do so.
World Health Organization - (WHO) is a specialized agency of the United Nations (UN) that acts as a coordinating authority on international public health.
